Anu Disanayaka is an Operations Manager at SECU Financial Partners, located at SECU of Maryland. Prior to that role, Anu was a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones Investments in Severna Park MD. There she focused on providing a holistic approach to financial planning to clients to pursue their financial goals.
Prior to that role, Anu was at SunTrust Bank in Glen Burnie, Maryland for almost 3 years as a Personal Banker. She partnered with Financial Advisors by referring clients to benefit from financial planning. She gained knowledge in banking, credit, business, and wealth management. Prior to that, Anu was a Premier banker at HSBC Financial Corporation in Asia for 4 years where she acted as a primary contact for high net worth clients at her branch. Anu holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American University – Kogod School of Business in Washington DC. She holds the following licenses: Series 7 & 66 registrations held with LPL Financial and MD Life & Health Insurance license.
Anu believes in the importance of giving back to the community While she was with SECU of MD she has volunteered in financial reality fairs for High school students where she had helped students with budgeting and prioritizing financial needs versus wants. Anu currently lives with her husband and daughter in Maryland. She enjoys swimming, hiking and loves exploring the Patapsco Valley State Park. Anu is excited to help SECU members pursue their goals and strive to provide them great customer service.
